This program is as sweet and spikey as the prickly pear that gives Opuntia their name. It features a world premier of a new quintet by Zachary Bramble, a work by Arizona Composer and OME Production Manager Bill Clay, an ear-expanding quintet that uses only the instruments' mouthpieces and assorted hardware-store items, and a lyrical three-movement work called "Three Stories" by Peter Lurye.
